Welcome to Hasland Hall Community School
Hasland Hall is a lively, welcoming school with successes in many aspects of school life; our staff are committed to working towards excellent educational provision in all areas for all students. Whilst learning in classrooms is at the heart of our work, a great emphasis is placed on providing opportunities for young people to participate and flourish in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. When children join our school, they become part of a community and my expectation is that they will be encouraged to develop their knowledge and skills in a caring, safe and happy environment; equally, they will be expected to care for and respect others.
The website can only give a glimpse of life at Hasland. Should you have any questions or would like further information, please contact the school and you will be directed to the appropriate person.

Remembrance Day - 11 November 2015
A minute’s silence was held at Hasland Hall at 11am on 11 November to mark Remembrance Day. At the invitation of the Mayor, the younger students who are part of the Cadet Services attended the ceremony at the Town Hall in Chesterfield. The older students are photographed paying their respects at 11am at school.
