Rotary Club Speaking Competition – Spring Term 2017
On Tuesday 14 March, the Rotary Club of Chesterfield held their annual Public Speaking Competition at Hasland Hall Community School.
Nine students from Chesterfield competed, including Nathalie and Ivan, who are both students in Year 11 at Hasland Hall. The quality of the speeches was high, with a range of interesting topics being covered. Nathalie and Ivan were both successful and will be competing in the final round at the Olde House Hotel in Newbold on Friday 24 March. All the competitors deserve praise for their contribution to the competition and the four finalists are wished the very best.
