Frequently Asked Questions
What form is my child in next year?
Unless you have been notified of a form change, students will remain in the same form as they were in previously.
Why have the form initials changed?
As part of the move to Outwood we have changed the way that we use staff initials. In the vast majority of cases it is first initial followed by the first two letters of the member of staff’s surname.
What if the Form Tutor has now left the school?
9CB will become 10ALI
Will students have changing facilities for PE in September?
Students will be able to change for PE. Careful thought has been given to how we will manage the changing room so as not to contaminate across bubbles. This will involve additional cleaning and ‘spraying down’.
School Transport
TM Travel 048 pulls into the bus stop outside of school.
Stagecoach 54/54a is used by a number of students and stops in Hasland.
In September a designated service will be provided for students only, as an alternative to catching public transport – the 115. Free Bus Pass holders will be a priority although fare payers can catch this bus for a £1 single fare charge.
