Living for Sport – Summer Term 2016
On Thursday 28 April, Hasland Hall Community School was fortunate enough to have another visit from international volleyball player Maria Bertelli as part of the ‘Living for Sport’ Programme. Maria worked with 19 students from Year 8 and Year 9, leading workshops focussed on developing leadership and mentoring skills.
This involved students in practical tasks and team building games. The day culminated in a cooperative games session where students demonstrated a fantastic ability to communicate effectively and work as a team to complete a succession of games in the shortest amount of time.
Well done to all the students who took part who were a credit to themselves and the school.
