Silver Ambassador Leadership Conference – Autumn Term 2015
A number of our students attended the English Institute of Sport Silver Ambassador Leadership Conference in Sheffield on Friday 20 November. It was a very informative day for the members of Hasland Hall Sports Council – a chance for them to develop and improve their skills to enable them to do their respective duties. The Sports Leaders had the opportunity to learn how to coach and lead activities such as Handball, Volleyball, Rounders, Boccia and Curling. The Reporters and Media Leaders had a chance to interview an international volleyball player at a press conference. This involved asking several questions and filming and photographing the event. A report was then compiled by Charlotte, our Reporter.
Emma, Head Sports Leader said, “it was a great day for looking at different sports and was also very useful in enabling me to understand my role better”.
